Bridgework
Bridgework is replacing missing teeth by means of linked crowns spanning a gap following preparation of teeth on either side.
There are also methods of providing adhesive bridgework which can involve minimal or no tooth preparation and where the bridge is bonded to the supporting teeth.

Functional and Aesthetic Dentistry.
Patient presented with missing teeth and a bite problem. She was unhappy with her dental appearance and the elongated upper eye teeth. As seen on the photographs there were gaps in the upper left and lower right quadrants. It was decided to treat this case by conventional bridge work. Aesthetics were improved by using porcelain laminate veneers in the upper front ten teeth and the lower front teeth.
